Sarah Terry, MS, OTR/L, HPCS
Evaluating & Treating Therapist
Sarah received her Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Penn State – Mont Alto in 2008. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University in 2012 including a specialization in Pediatrics and minor in Psychology. She became board certified as a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist in 2017. Sarah is registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and has seventeen years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy. Her fieldwork and employment history includes a variety of settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, early intervention, inpatient, rehab hospital, and nursing homes. Her specialty is feeding, and she is certified in the SOS Approach to Feeding and the Beckman Oral Motor assessment and intervention. She has a strong desire to expand upon her knowledge and continuously seeks continuing education courses and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to advance her clinical expertise. Outside of her work, Sarah enjoys reading, photography, hiking, biking, kayaking, snow shoeing, horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Patricia Gay, BS, OTR/L, CHT
Evaluating Therapist & Treating Therapist
Pat received her Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College, PA in 1985. She brings a tremendous amount of experience and expertise through various settings with specializing in Orthopedics as a Certified Hand Therapist. She worked throughout her years with all ages in hand-therapy, sensory-motor, work-hardening and is passionate to help others. She obtained her Focus iLs certification in 2019, and SSP certification in 2020. She has a passion for exotic birds and loves her dog. She loves to travel, being part of her church community, and values family and friends.
Kathrin Winter, AS, COTA/L, Manager
Treating Therapist
Kathrin received her Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Penn State - Berks University, PA in 2011. Her experiences are comprehensive with a wide range of ages in : Neurological treatments including brain processing and sensory integration, mental health treatments, pain relief, persistent post-concussion, long covid, strategic learning, auditory and language processing. She continues her studies to keep up with latest and newest treatment approaches so she can offer new and holistic treatment to her clients. She is Focus iLs Certified since 2018 and SSP (Safe and Sound Protocol) certified since 2020. Kathrin founded BalanSense-Therapy, LLC in 2022 and opened the York, PA location in March of 2023 offering to families a more holistic, efficient and effective auditory and sensory treatment approach with the basis of nervous system regulation through evidenced-backed music listening programs. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, biking, hiking, walking her dog, traveling, singing, creating pots on her pottery-wheel, and visiting with family and friends.
